Well, we don't seem to lose anything, unless we have done something criminal and not got caught. We may get convicted then. Just saying.... or may be our bank account's details and we may suffer if we hold more than million dollars(like bonanova)

do u pick randomly?
and if By picking a number u mean integer then i think its

and if u mean a real number, then i think

- Daughter (1/7) gets half of mother's (2/7) share, and son (4/7) gets twice mother's share.
Most popular solution.
- Mother (5/15) always gets at least one-third of estate. Son (8/15) gets four times daughter's (2/15) share
- If first twin born is son (6/9), give him his two-thirds. Mother (2/9) twice daughter's (1/9) share.
- If first twin born is daughter (3/9), give her her one-third. Son (4/9) twice mother's (2/9) share.
Are there others?
ya.
wife gets nothing, son gets nil, daughter gets zilch and dark magician gets all of it
- Daughter (1/7) gets half of mother's (2/7) share, and son (4/7) gets twice mother's share.

Mom should get 30%
Son should get 60%
Daughter should get 10%
1. son should get twice the inheirtance as mom
so 2x -> x where x is mom's money
2. Daughter should get 1/3 of the money that mom gets
so 1/3 x --> where x is mom's money
well 2x + x + 1/3 x add up to all the money so
2x + x + 1/3 x = 100%
where x = 30
so 2x = 60
and 1/3 x =10
If i am not missing something, then daughter should get half of mom and not 1/3rd.

Where will the detector be placed? Sorry i think i haven't understood clearly.

One way to look at it is -
wife gets twice to that of girl and half of that of son
so if the man had X amount of property, then daughter gets X/7, Wife gets 2*X/7 and son gets 4*X/7 -
2 possiblities giving same answer
all lying - 7-bill 8-susan
1 true rest lying 7- bill, 8-susan
All can't lie, because Statement 1 becomes true as soon as seven are considered lie. It is really amazing isn't it...?
But there are 8 people. If all of them lie, then statement 1 is false.

Object: to prove that i < 0 ( that is, sqrt(-1) < 0 )
( .5 + sqrt(3/4)*i )^3 = (-1)^3
which means that .5 + sqrt(3/4)*i = -1
So then 1 + sqrt(3)*i = -2
sqrt(3)*i = -1
i = -1/sqrt(3)
Therefore i is a negative number. QED.
when talking about complex number, there are 2 things, magnitude and arguement 0.5+sqrt(3/4)*i 's magnitude is equal to one and the arguement results in the further -ve sign. as aruement is pi/3 and arguement^3=3*arguement(a property whose name i have forgetton i.e. arguement^n=n*arguement)=pi. and 1*pi =-1 in complex.

What would be the remainder of 3^4^5^6^7^... and so on to infinity is when
divided by 17?
Using Euler toitent function and euler theorem -> remainder is 1, as the Dividend is 3^16K (this is obvious)

I have a question. What will be the expected value if only 1 dice is rolled?
