I forgot to congratulate you on 1000+ @DL - Mafia can be a very intense game and it can elicit a lot of different point of views. But Benjer did what the rules allowed him to do (i.e. correctly). For example, maurice and I started out as newbies in the same Mafia: maFBIa (you can read it here in the Games section). I was a baddie, he was the goodie spy. And we had a very intense day when: - he outed himself as a Spy and claimed I was a baddie (and he was correct) - I claimed he is either lying or his spy has been redirected. And we kept at it the whole day. The outcome was he got lynched (4vs4 and a vote manip). And I of course, ran out of lies, and got lynched the next day. And the baddies eventually lost. The morale of the story is that we were both sore after that game, but we did become friends. And remained that way, in spite of the fact that there is no Mafia in which we ever played on the same side and we back-stabbed each other a lot So, during a Mafia, don't trust anyone and be on the lookout for any potential ally to actually be from an opposite side. Outside a Mafia, don't judge hard on people's choices, since you might be in their spot someday. We can talk about strategy, clever moves, blunders, ... but don't hold grudges ok? @all - And please don't lynch me because I'm defending Benjer. He's not a colleague baddie. I've got the perfect defense now: The roles aren't out yet

Yes, but not always. Only if vote is manipulated decisively by that manipulation. E.g. if it breaks a tie or makes a tie which is not apparent to the rest of the players. Same goes for the rest of vote-manipulators (Picard, Gul Dukat).

Day 3 - A Warrior's Honor The remaining people aboard the station gathered in the central meeting room. No one had died last night, so accusations were targeted this time to the only one who was prevented the previous night. After a while, Benjer rose to his feet. He knew he had to commit suicide eventually, for the Founder being harmed. No Jem'Hadar could live with that guilt, as it was buried deep in their genetic code. “I am First Omet'iklan, and I am dead. I went into battle to reclaim my life. I have failed you, Founder!” The other's circled him and took away his uniform. The Jem'Hadar was marched to the brig, and after quick discussions, was sentenced to death. He had proven a worthy warrior, so Worf replicated a bat'leth and gave him the dignity of a warrior's death.

Great You can start posting signups whenever you feel ready, you don't have to wait for STMafia to end. This way, more people can signup till STMafia is over. I admit, I'm biased, hosting two mafias in a row really made me anxious to play another one

Also, creating a thread and posting your ideas in the open will guarantee more feedback / help with finishing it up. Night 3 - "Breadcrumbs" ------- Worf went out to find a target tonight. His orders to not use deadly force, not even in self-defence, were beggining to irritate him. He found Benjer and ambushed him in a storage room. This time, he had replicated a primitive form of truth serum and injected his target with it. Either the serum was not working, or his target had been immune to it. Frustrated, Worf left him there. -------- Data was alone in his quarters, going over surveillance reports. New intelligence showed that there may be Romulan spies on the station. He ran a few behavioral pattern detection algorithms and he cleared two suspects. -------- Weyoun was out again in his JemHadar disguise. He found Vineetrika and started up a harmless conversation. A few catchphrases gave his target's role away and Weyoun was pleased.

The "one down, two to go" was meant to check one of her targets as killed from the list of 3. Sela has 3 targets in the story. Her WinCon still says only 2 need to be killed (by her) to win i.e. 1 more. EDIT: Sorry for any confusion that "one down, two to go" statement in the night-post created.

Day 2 - The Revenge of the Solids. The station was in frenezy when day came. Everyone was anxious to cast an accusation. The double kill the previous night made everyone nervous and jumpy. By midday, a decision was reached. The female Changeling had to be stopped. Footage camera of GJ’s death had made the Starfleet officers mad. Three targets were proposed, then voices started to argue toward Hirkala. At the end, a tie vote was suggested, but two people were against. They grabbed Hirkala and shot him with a paralyzing fluid, so he could be interrogated. Treason struck again! The seringe had been tampered and again they saw a body melt to the floor as the Changeling could not maintain molecular coherence. The Female Changeling had died! With Odo lynched the day before, the Changelings were out of the Alpha Quadrant. But there were still Dominion forces out there.
