I thought the indy was hiding by not acting but from mo's posts, I didn't think it was you. Well played. From mo's "Not cool Molly" and saying he was blocked, I thought he was saying he spied you as either the block or as targeting him. Since I wasn't playing this time, I probably wasn't following closely enough to pick up many claims besides fb's clear attempt for a tie. That said, there's so many things I've seen posted that don't make any more sense after the final post than they did before. Lionel Richie, Sunday mornings, bona's sister and Masada... Especially that last one... can anyone explain those to me?
Also wondering, I get emails from following this thread. Bona's posts seem to be edited a lot but there's no edited marking on the posts?

On my phone, I see a link on each post that says "quote". I can sort of copy and paste the roster on phone but as I found out last game, the cursor had an unfortunate habit of moving... Spoilers and colors on phone have to be done with the [ ] codes.

Araver serves first. There are 9 games played. If they alternate first serves, plasmid will serve either 4 or 5 times. If it's 4 serves, to win 3 games, the (serves lost, receptions won) combinations would be (1,0) (2,1) (3,2) and (4,3). For 5 serves, it would be (2,0) (3,1) (4,2) and (5,3). Since each of the (serves lost, receptions won) is a service break, for (a,b), a+b must equal 5. The only combination fitting this is (3,2) under 4 serves for plasmid meaning Araver has 5 and serves the first game.

It's amazing how much time you can spend agonizing over something that doesn't matter in the end. I spent way too much time thinking about the possibility that maurice was actually the US, Molly was China, and I'd have another cycle to deal with. Can I convince flamebirde to save me to guarantee at least a goodie tie? If bonanova gets killed and I kill Molly the next day, it'll be me without a RID kill and Germany... I had like 3 different nightmares over a couple hours last night where maurice turned out to not be China... All this after I had told myself Molly had to be Russia...
I think I may have a mafia-life balance problem...

Wait, did my bluff actually work? Did Maurice remove a vote? Like, it actually has no bearing on the outcome of the game, but I still want to know.
If it makes you feel any better, I had you and Molly as Germany and Russia before the mass outing. Thought bonanova sort of claimed Australia earlier but figured if the US killed him I'd be better off whether he was Australia or China. He seemed like the biggest threat to me with his day actions. If maurice had removed a vote besides flamebirde's, it would have been a tie and I wouldn't have even got the chance to use my RID kill.
When I was first reading through, I didn't realize you were expecting me to kill Molly. Got a bit of a laugh from that. So the biggest thing the mass outing accomplished was it made sure you got China.
If you had lynched fb, I would have RID killed maurice which would have been blocking.
I did get really lucky with bonanova getting the UK lynched D1 so thanks for that.
On another note, I came extremely close to not acting at all N2 to try to frame plasmid as Sweden. Might have given mo's claim more credibility with neither Sweden nor China showing...
So now that I know asking won't get me killed, what's a PGP public key block? And where were those soft claims?

Thought I saw something in my grid for a moment that might indicate Molly being China but it seems to be clearing him now. Am curious though about who your targets were and your results. Doubt it's going to make any difference but am curious.
On a completely unrelated note, what's with the honey-pickled apples recipe in your signature?

You didn't literally call him a liar but you've contradicted his claim that you're China. If he's claiming to be Russia having spied you and you're contradicting him, I'm not sure what else that means.
Now that I see Molly's post though, I'm kind of questioning his claim. . .
Care to share what you're basing your claim that maurice is China on?

If you claim US, who do you think could be China? Besides me. I doubt I'm the only one on your list.
Reading back through your posts, I found it interesting that you pretty much called Molly a liar but didn't include him in your guess on China or Sweden.

The lead? I'm not sure what that means. Those 4 are just in the order I remember the relevant posts being in.
I agree maurice dead is good because he isn't currently trapped.
From an outside point of view, I can say I think it's a mistake. I didn't say I didn't want to know. The fact is, assuming you're all telling the truth, Sweden knows who the three targets are. Maybe you live to lynch Sweden, maybe you don't. We shall see.

I will neither confirm nor deny being Sweden or China. Mainly Sweden since I think maurice is the only one claiming I'm China.

maurice claims he tried to kill me because I hadn't said anything... Great logic there.
After the night post, for Australia, I was thinking maurice was Australia with a chance of being bonanova. The fact that maurice hasn't tried to claim Australia makes him a lynch target for me.
I don't know about what the rest of you thought but from my point of view, flamebirde seemed like the most likely target for China. He seemed like the leader in a way. Making plans for how to coordinate kills and saves. I'm glad Australia agreed. If I were Sweden and not flamebirde, I'd think about taking the opportunity to frame someone. It's been a long time since I last played. I don't remember much about flamebirde's style of play but I think of MM and mo as the kind of players who might take that chance. That said, if I were China, I'd have killed maurice, thought to be Australia and not the most likely target.
I think telling Sweden who everyone is was a mistake. I don't expect anyone to trust me if I made a claim (I wouldn't trust me) but I suppose I can try to leave enough doubt to make things rough for kills.

We should try to get Maurice to talk tomorrow. As for deflecting blame, you'll have to check with the others but I don't think I've deflected any blame. I'm just as suspicious as the rest. You just happen to be a bit higher on the list than the rest of us. I believe saying that I've posted as much as anyone would mean your argument is we could all be China...

I've played only a few Mafia games. I wish I had accepted Unreality's invite to play, back in the day, and learned it better. Coupled with a hope for a few more games to follow this one. My comfort zone is math and logic, where all the needed info is provided, just needing insight and clear thought. This is more fun, actually, and with experience I might get better. Or, I'm a very slippery guy and everything I just said is garbage.
