  1. For some, maybe. For others, a LOGIC puzzle is all about scientific thinking. You wouldn't read fairy tales to help you on your discrete math test, would you it's been many years since my last math test ... I like finding solutions and making things as easy as possible ... I thought that this was a puzzle for 10-year-old kids sooooo, no flame here (I will delete all such posts)
  2. OK ... I guess I have to amend my attitude ... so I will assume that users of my forum can not always find implied questions and they have to be led like little children ... I have moved the questions to the wording of the puzzle
  3. and again ... sad, how reality and scientific thinking can spoil joy of simple puzzles

  15. sum of their ages can not be unique (respecting the "product = 36" condition and doubts which were clarified only after "the oldest child sentence") ... so what other combination of 3 numbers that have product of 36 and sum of 21 do you know?

  18. should be one of the well known lateral thinking puzzles ... to be 100% sure, you should have a few more hints, or somebody to answer your questions with "yes/no/not important" and now what the most often solution is (bear in mind that without hints it can be almost anything) ... But as I mentioned, the solution can be almost anything else.
  19. still laughing btw, check puzzle called Josephine - that's what redstone was probably looking for ... nevertheless, I like bonanova's spoiler much much more
  20. well, title of the puzzle is as follows: Wired Equator
  21. I mean a pair of scales that weighs 2 objects at the same - comparing their weight ... either the 2 objects weigh the same or they don't (so no numbers
