Oh man, no joke, that was one of my teacher's names two years ago. But it was pronounced differently.
  3. When you begin doubting your own maths capabilities because you see how brilliant everyone else is.. When you refresh every 10 seconds to check if Andromeda is online because you want to know if you've gotten nearer to the solution.

I think this is in first person, but still..
  5. When similar riddles are used in school and you solve it before anyone else realizes what to do.
  6. Izzy

Doesn't it though? I may've misread.. But, dude what.

That's my point. INdeterminism says that the universe is random, chaotic, and that "fate" science-wise is total bull, making it the opposite of the determinism. Determinism was thought to be like clockwork, so isn't what your explaining pretty much an insanely long definition of INdeterminism?

Very nicely stated, but isn't that just a long way of explaining indeterminism? Free will is the opposite of clockwork, making it fate, and fate as a scientific idea was proven to be wrong ages ago. *edit* Had to delete the edit I added in from the Atheism thread.

Sorry if this is a bit off topic, but it reminds me of a conversation I had with a friend a while back. How do we know Time is even there? I mean, we can't prove it's there with any of our senses. Simply knowing Time is there proves nothing. Is Time just something someone a long time ago made up, or is it, like actually there?

    LMFAO! These are brilliant!

But we can't see 4 dimensional entities.
  12. Izzy

Does that mean time is an entity that has a form that we're incapable of seeing?
  13. Izzy

Yeah, I've heard about this. If the 4th, 5th, 6th, etc. dimensions actually exist, in forms other than space or time, I can see how this is plausible. It doesn't even fully make sense to me, but basically, we live in the 3rd dimension and can only see if 3 dimensions or less. For all we know, 4-d things can be all around us, but we can't see them, only the bits of them that penetrate into our dimension. Correct me if I'm wrong, but that's what an hour of YouTubing a while back taught me.

Gah, I can't get my mind away from wanting to shout out "Signature!!!" I doubt I'm going to solve this one, but here's to random guesses anyway.
