I was looking at the member online list thing, and saw someone looking at this. The problems seemed so easy, of course I had to solve them all. Since the topic's over a year old, I'm sure all the answers are here, but I'll post mine anyway. I haven't looked at anyone else's since I'm pretty confident in mine.

Hmm, honestly though, it's better that teens are spending their time online rather than watching T.V. The only show I watch regularly is Family Guy, and the occasional Scrubs and House (but that's only because I have a thing for rather cocky doctors. )

*cringe* ... *jealous* We have P.E. Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays, and Health on Tuesday and Thursdays. 3 minutes between classes (which is just enough time to make it to the next class on time), and 45 minutes for lunch. You can eat inside or outside, but only in certain areas. ...My friends and I kind of ignore that rule though. We always make an excuse that's like "...Erm. Well, I've got to go speak with [teacher] about my rude behavior in class today. So.. Yeah." One time we had a picnic (blanket and all ) on the soccer field, and some teacher came out, and was like "... And what do you guys think you're doing?" but we always just lie and say we have permission, and they never check. But yeah, I want recess.

Have you heard of photobucket.com? If you haven't, I recommend creating an account. There's an "upload" button, and if you suck at finding things on your computer, just drag them to your desktop and look for them there. Once it uploads (takes about 5 seconds to 5 minutes depending on connection/image size), go to the picture, look directly beneath it, copy the image code, and copy and paste it into a post.

Silverheart, I'm an 8th grader at a K-8 school. We have a playground for the little kids, but are forbidden from using it. I can't tell you how many times we've just snuck away at lunch to go eat food on top of the monkey bars. It's awesome. You shouldn't let school norms set examples for you. Try writing a well written letter to the administration about how you/others need time to just chill during the day, and you should be able to get away with at least half an hour of recess. Unless you already have P.E., then it doesn't work..

I'm not sure whether or not this has been attempted on here yet, but if it has, I'd like to play anyway, so I'm hosting my own game. The game starts with the first person (me) thinking of a sentence or phrase, and writing it down. I will do so in a spoiler. ONLY PERSON NUMBER 2 SHOULD OPEN THIS SPOILER. IF ANYONE ONE ELSE PLAYING OPENS THE SPOILER BEFORE THEIR TURN/ON THEIR TURN, THE GAME IS RUINED. Person number 2 will open my spoiler, and attempt to draw a picture that represents the sentence/phrase. The picture (only, not with my phrase) will be posted in a spoiler which SHOULD ONLY BE OPENED BY PERSON 3 (and 1 because at this point they've already gone and will no longer affect the game), because person three now has to make a caption for that picture. When you say "If the detective picks the wrong person, they die too", do you mean the detective dies also, or the person they picked? I'm about 98% sure it's the latter, but you never know. I'd love to play, but I'm going on vacation for Thanksgiving, so I won't be on much. <_<

Hmm. Well, I do love being online, but I wouldn't say I'm addicted. About two years ago I wrote an essay on internet addiction among teens and young adults, and, even though it exists, it's pretty damn hard to be "addicted". Personally, I spend about as much time outside as I do online. I literally *just* came back from the playground in my neighborhood. (There's more kids there making out than online...) As long as it's used in moderation, the internet and all of technology is really, really awesome. I quit Myspace about 2 years ago when I realized how much it sucked. Now I only go on it about once every few weeks to go into my friend's account and see if there's anything important I'm missing. I have a Facebook, but other than updating my status, I don't really do anything there. Yes, I know all my friends.

It's almost as if my self-proclaimed geekiness is worthwhile.
