0 Guest Posted June 4, 2009 Report Share Posted June 4, 2009 You're all close Line 8 - Someone well known around here Line 1 - Their riddles are almost always assumed to be extremely obvious but usually aren't (transparent was just used instead of the word obvious, but I like the transparent/plainglazed thought process.) Line 5 & 6 - For some reason, though, they seem to be disappointed when their riddles take 3 or 4 pages of guesses before it is correctly answered The rest of the riddle was simply a metaphor for a riddle, which most of you have picked up on. My greatest fault in writing a riddle, Is the urge to hint, if answers are little. The irony, now that you mention this, is, I've sworn, never again, my fault will be this.
