I'm here for you always

Except when you need me

I walk through your hallways

Our friendship is easy

This one is tough, but I feel like I should be able to get it if I stare at it long enough. Just to get the ball going, though. I have a thought, but I'm sure it's not right.

carpet?

Nothing correct so far. The wide variety of answers makes me think I left this one a little vague. We'll see how it goes and if needed I'll add another verse.

Ok since you say no one is getting there yet, I am going to try something a little different.

Nope, sorry.

The answer is something which most of us have had at one time or another.

I'm assuming mine was wrong too?

Yes, unfortunately no one is on the right track yet.

Haha, I like your tenacity

The answer is a label, but it describes something physical, not abstract.

Oh yes, but I am not too stubborn or anything, I will play by the rules.

I'm here for you always

Except when you need me

I walk through your hallways

Our friendship is easy

I have a good guess, but it wont let me use a spoiler!

I was just joking around. I didn't mean any offense.

If your spoilers still aren't working, you can send me a PM.

None taken whatsoever. I was playing around as well.

Spoilers are working again, but my guess left me :( IT will come back!

To revive this one, I'll give a few more hints

Again, it's something we've all had at some point in our lives. It's a descriptive term to describe a physical person, place, or thing.

The first 2 lines are pretty much the definition of the answer. The 3rd is literal. It just describes something the answer has done, but it isn't integral to solving the riddle. The 4th lline describes the situaton from the answer's POV.

the first two lines are what makes it so tough. Her for you always, except when you need me? What could be like that?

What would make the claim of always being there and then when you really needed it, was nowhere in sight?
