I think the one thing that would rule it out is being perfectly round. They usually come in a boxier shape. Except for the kinds that are built into cars (if you're going by the last stanza), but then they don't need fluid. At any rate, not the thing I'm getting at. A bit of Googling confirmed that some of the biggest players in that business are indeed Italian.
