0 Guest
Are you going to turn left? the point is "left of the rising sun." whether I'm turning, going to turn, have turned, doesn't matter. It's the "direction" which matters.

Vaguely remember asian custom of binding feet but dont know. straight north? or due north? as alternatives. Nice riddle as always. Especially like the Rising Sun and Samarai reference tie in. 0 Guest
Wait, is itNorthward? ~ Samurai -> sword? ~ Okay. I think much "direction" is needed for you guys to solve this riddle. Both words are direction related. Northbound I think is great. But, both words are related to direction, just as Northbound is, but then the word doesn't become a direction, it becomes a "thing." I suggest paying more attention to the second line than the first. The first is more "association" and not as precise. The second line more describes what I'm looking for. Second stanza, don't think about what samurai's do, but rather, what they would call their "path in life."

0 Guest
northeast train? Let me tell you all, now, it has nothing to do with north, but another sort of direction which north suggests. Focus on the second line more than the first.
