0 Guest
Did you know Daddy Long Legs are highly poisoness except they cant pierce our skin so they are viewed as harmless spiders.... This is debatable, but if they can't bite humans, how do we know the effects it would have on a human? As far as I know noone has volunteered to be injected with venom from the spider. It is also illegal to do such tests on humans. Anyways here is where you can find information regarding this myth. Oh daddy.. (Scroll down to the misconceptions part) Also I have seen the episode of Mythbusters where Adam put his arm in a tube filled with daddy longlegs, and actually was bitten. He has been on every episode after that one.

0 Guest
The name of all the continents end with the same letter that they start with. North America, South America? J/k I know what you meant. But really niether continent is refered to as just America.(at best they are called the Americas, but then that ends in s) That would be like saying, "well I'm off to Dakota",....."oh yeah, what one?" I believe the fact about corks and spiders. The worst spider I have ever heard of is probably the Sydney Funnel-web Spider in Australia, and even that spiders' bite/kill ratio is far lower than most people would believe.
