Using the scores just from Superficial and superscribe, i was able to narrow the list down to 17 words. (From "scr*be", 3 of those 5 letters must be correct and along with "Calefactive"'s score I know it's not both C and E. Going thru my short list of 17, none of them fit the other scores. Sigh. I think it matched 5 of superficial's letters, but actually I may have been comparing it to superscribe and thinking it should only match 4 there when it should match 6. I see your correction, but it wasn't the reason I eliminated the word. I would have made the same error. New 12 letter word I'm certain the longer words are easier due to less possibilities but it can be a struggle to get your brain round them which can actually make it a bit more of a challenge.
