You can serve a cup of something, or someone can pour a cup. A cup is a measurement of liquid. Not sure how it's attractive. But it recieves and you can put things in it. Not sure how it would be a pass, but you can cup someones ears, or you can make someones bone cup by crushing it or you can make your hand into a cup. You run for the cup when you're in a race. You talk about cups, like the world cup, etc. You can use a cup to put things in and share it by passing it around, you can cup your hand to cause pain, you can present things in a cup. How's that?
