a couple of ppl have got part of the right answer, but w/o explaining how it relates to all 4 lines (in diff. ways), it doesn't quite work (I'm really not nitpicking, even though it may seem so).

here's a hint:

the 4 lines relate to different meanings of one thing (which may, in one meaning, have already been guessed).

Clock seems possible.

1st line: clocks strike the hour, often run on coiled springs.

2nd/3rd lines: not sure, but reference to time and makes me think of alarm clock, time to get up (unfurl, unravel, etc.)

(warming babble: clock radio, wake up to news, talk shows, music, etc.)

4th line: ask 10 people in a room what time it is and each has a watch, but each gives you a different time.

Some of that's a bit of a stretch, but that's what it calls to mind.

The Farm came closest to the answer, so I'm posting what I had now:

Spring (4 diff. definitions/meanings)

Tightly coiled, and ready to strike- clock spring

Time to unfurl, unfold, unravel- season (blooming)

Time to bask in the warming babble- spring as in brook

All the same, yet nothing like- part of cycle (repetitive) of new life/birth (always unique)... also a hint for riddle solution (all the lines refer to the same word, but diff meanings)
