Question

The rules for this can be found here

and now the clues! These are, for the most part, significantly more difficult than the first five I posted--I actually did some research for these! I'll tell you right off the bat that some (but not all) of the words are pretty obscure, and not all of the answers that form phrases of their own have accurate grammar. Enjoy!

1) The language of DNA is...

2) The weapon of choice for Joe Dirt

3) Dr. Jekyll and Mr. egg

4) An angry, unschooled privateer

5) A lot of pain

6) An amphimacer about a bodily function (not too crude, I assure you)

Oh, and just so everyone knows in advance, none of the answers rhyme!

4) an angry, unschooled privateer

IRATE PIRATE

1) The language of DNA is...

Phonetic Genetic???

You're almost there on #4, but you have to add a letter to the first phrase to make it a "Why Me Rhyme." Remember that the privateer is unschooled!

here's an alternate clue to #1:

Scribed upon flesh

Alright Lost in Space, here it is.

1) The language of DNA is... (alternate clue=scribed in flesh) (7 letters each)

2) The weapon of choice for Joe Dirt - mullet bullet (Enlightened)

3) Dr. Jekyll and Mr. egg (5 letters each)

4) An angry, unschooled privateer - closest so far is irate pirate (6 letters each)

5) A lot of pain - much ouch (Lost in Space)

6) An amphimacer about a bodily function (not too crude, I assure you) (6 letters each)

Mind you, I've given the number of letters, not necessarily the number of characters (spaces and hyphens don't count, as described in the OP)

Been pounding my head against #1 for about 45 mins now. I just want to make sure that I understand what is meant by not rhyming.

Does the following rhyme? a section inspection

I would say it does, and just want to make sure, since I've been discarding rhymes of that sort for a while now.

Those words rhyme. He gave away the number of letters in a previous post. These are just really hard to think up, especially when they have hyphens and spaces.

Thanks for that tip. I had missed both of the extra clues, and was spending most of my time trying ridiculous multi-word cominbations like "a indigenes bindi genes". Knowing it's just two seven letter words should make it easier. Or not.
