Question

Hi Everyone,

I am given this number sequence of 1,2, 3, 6, 2, 8, 16, 2, 18, 36, 2 .... The question asks for the next 6 numbers in the sequence. Any help or hint at all is very much appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.

1,2, 3, 6, 2, 8, 16, 2, 18, 36, 2

The sum of the first and second number is equal to the third number. You then multiply the second and third number to get the fourth number. Every third number is a 2. Therefore, the next 6 numbers are going to be --2--2. You repeat the pattern so the 2 gets added. I'll let you work out the addition and multiplication.
