Guest
RACKS ROCKS I suspect that A is second. If RACKS is 1 and ROCKS is 0, A is second. If ROCKS is 1 and RACKS is 0, O is second.
Guest
RACKS ROCKS I suspect that A is second. If RACKS is 1 and ROCKS is 0, A is second. If ROCKS is 1 and RACKS is 0, O is second. I think the established rule on conditional statements is that they are allowed based on only one unknown word, not more than one. Following that precedent, I'll score RACKS but not ROCKS. Edit, to add a suggestion: I'll need the logic behind your statements as well. _ _ _ _ _ EERIE-0 WHARF-0 RACKS-1 ADIEU-0 OVERT-0 SPOOK-0 OFTEN-0 MUSES-0. ZEBRA-0 COUNT-0. Guest
I was guessing two words with a one letter difference to see if A or O was he second letter. What's wrong with that?
Guest
I was guessing two words with a one letter difference to see if A or O was he second letter. What's wrong with that? There's nothing wrong with guessing more than one word, you just can't use conditional statements when you do that. Please see the excerpt below, from another time this issue occurred: GNOLL and KNOLL if gnoll has one more point than knoll, then g is first letter, being only difference between the two. has there been a consensus yet on whether to accept the kinds of conditional statements that nickfleming is saying? I think we've been allowing them, but for one word max. Like, I can't post a stream of words and logic between them (as with Nick's gnoll and knoll), but if GNOLL has already been scored as 1, and someone posts KNOLL and says "If it's 0, then the G in Gnoll must be right because the first letter is the only thing to change", it's okay. yeah we've been allowing with 1 word not with multiple. Izzy's example is right and Nick's technically isnt :-p I'm good with Izzy's comment. Allows one to get credit when maybe they can't stick around or are otherwise slow on the draw *typing with one finger* Do you want me to score your other word? Let me know and I will. Guest
Okay, well, ROCKS. If ROCKS is 0, A is second. If ROCKS is 2, O is second.
Guest
Personally, I don't see the point of that rule. You can just wait for the first word to get scored and then guess the second one.
