Guest Posted April 7, 2011 Report Share Posted April 7, 2011 PAPER = 2 PANDA = 1 (The A) rules out the first P BAGEL = 1 (the A) rules out the E So the 2nd letter is P is 3rd or R is 5th PIPES if 0 then R is 5th as PIPER = 1 and R -> S was only change if 1 then P is 3rd. O is wrong from GATOR - 2 since the A, R are proven and the Z is wrong from MAZES. If 2, then Z is third since M is wrong from MINOR - 1 (the R). The ES is wrong from PIPES - 0. If B is third then S is not third so R is 5th. But then _ _ T _ X <> 1. The same can be proven for L is 5th, S is 3rd, R is 5th, T is 3rd , X is 5th. ( Or they all = 2 which can not be. B, S and R can't all be 3rd and L, R and X can't all be 5th) if 4 then LA _ E _ .
