The O is eliminated from COLON-2 (since ON are proven) leaving B_S one of the two being correct BARON-3 shows that BAR one of is correct. Since BAT one of them is correct, T and R cannot both be right, so we are left with B or A. Here's how I chose my word. I looked at my word list, culled from a variety of sources on the internet. I don't know how many are English and I know all are not listed in Webster's 3rd. I looked up this word at www.dictionary.com and it was listed. I don't have a copy of Webster's 3rd handy (who does?) so couldn't verify it there.
