Guest
PELTS If 1 then _ E R _ _ is established since PLTS are all wrong based on POSTS and a known R for the 3rd letter. Edited November 12, 2010 by Maquis

Guest
LOL, I've finally learned the secret to this game. If you're choosing the word, then you'll get more points for an obscure or "odd" pattern word than you will for a normal everyday word. So once it gets down to the end, just look at your possible words list and guess the most obscure one on there. Xerox looked odd enough to fit the bill. Ok, I hope not to be the wordmaster over the weekend, so I'm picking what I hope is a nice easy simple word that should be very quick. _ _ _ _ _ GO! Guest
LOL, I didn't realize I posted that much. I keep meaning to update my avatar as well. I guess I need to get around to that this weekend. I found this forum quite by accident. I answer questions sometimes on Yahoo!Answers and someone over there posted a logic question asking "What's the next number in this series?". Another person answered it just saying the question was just a plainent cut/paste from Brainden and provided a link to the original question. I was able to answer the problem and found some more fun workplace time-wasters here. Now onto the guess results. SPLAT - 1 TOPAZ -

Guest
SPRAT - if 0 then _ _ L _ _ due to only change from SPLAT = 1. If 2 then _ _ R _ _ due to same logic.

fabpig
STRAY - if 0 then P is 2nd letter, if 1 then S is 1st, if 2 then ST_ _ _ . Because A eliminated TOPAZ = 0, R eliminated SPLAT = 1 SPRAT = 1, Y eliminated SPLAT = 1 SPLAY = 1, so SP_ _ _ =
