Hi everybody,

first of all sorry if this riddle has been posted before but i've searched and didn't find it

Two persons, one is blind, the other is dumb, the dumb somehow knows that the blind's father has died, how would he tell the blind that his father is dead?

They are alone and they can't use any kind of tool to communicate

i don't really know the solution, someone asked me to solve it but i was unable to solve it so far

Isn't it time you used more appropriate language. People who are unable to speak are "mute", "dumb" today means lack of intelligence and is highly insulting.

Since both can hear it seems the mute person could clap out a code. Start by clapping once, then twice and so forth to 26. This lets the blind person know it's a simple letter replacement code. Then clap the message. Maybe?

The mute person could use the blind persons finger to write out "you're father has died" on a wall/table.

It's the blind's dad that's dead and doesn't know, not the mute's.
