Now the hard part is trying 'not' to use them anymore there isn't really any relationship with being colorblind... Sorry for any confusion, but what I was trying to say with the hint is that you need to change perspectives... That said, you're a little closer... But still overthinking... almost everyone who reads this riddle will say when this is over... The answer isn't necessarily hidden in plain sight, but it has been staring you right in the eye the whole time... yeah, I tend to do that, over think things that is. I really thought that the 'Den' in the title would have given this one away pretty quickly... Congrats to jkb and MrsP for figuring it out, but I think hambone deserves an extra 5 points for nailing down the entire scenario almost word for word...will post my initial setup and inspiration later if time permits. (trying to come up with a reasoning to fit their rhyme) **The third is about the solving process, the close calls and trying to help everyone to stay on track without giving the answer away... A glimmer of hope...... but that light has gone out. Fear and frustration builds; sureness fades into doubt. **And the last is about when it is solved obviously As your last breath is drawn, see the predators' mad grins. Fallen form shoved aside, a new dance it begins. My original notes were: Creating a riddle, 'Den'izens guessing the answer and then moving on to the next challenge...
