Question

Eons ago there was a man named Pavem.

Pavem was given countless Chances to repent in verse,

which he always did.

the poesy usually lowered his sentence to one Rod.

In this strange day and age, the Rod ruled everything;

every word on the page was written by the Rod and so it was.

one day, Pavem, through with Chances, Eons ago,

was finished by the Rod and the last word he screamed was 'Meteronse'

What Am I?

All the same capital letters again..

But this time from your last comment on my guess...

I will try " the Bloomberg app. on the iPhone"

EPP=Employees Personal CRR=Cash Reserve Ratio

RPC(inc.)=is a holding company for the NYSE

ERM=(i think) Enterprise Risk Managment

(OR) ERM=(maybe) Exchange Ratio Mechanism

Ok trying this again...

like most of the kids today....they have the texting plan and no minutes to call

Maybe its...

Haha nice answer

In this day and age, NOTHING annoys me more than people these days who's intelligence and lives have been reshaped and molded in a decline and fall, simply by the texting phenomenon. No one remembers how to write or spell anymore. And they have no problem blaming it on laziness or their being accustomed to texting. When that should really be an embarrassment. All the abbreviations and shortened words of today's youth. If you actually spell something correctly, they're less likely to understand you than if you just shorten it to some random anagram of an ACRONYM

So true, not for the puzzle, but in reality!

Simply a message? As in there's a secret message, and yet, perhaps that's also the answer? Or at least the key?

I have a question, it is fine if you choose not to answer, I would MORE than understand. . . .but. . .

That perhaps the capitalized words, or some at least, were anagrams. Is this the right track at all? Or should we stick with the previous ideas that the capitalized letters stand for things?

They capitalized words are not anagrams and they (the capitalized letters themselves) do not stand for anything. The capitalized words need to be deciphered/manipulated using the key to get the answer.
