  1. You haven't missed anything. They can't all be head-bangers.
  2. How many ways can you form the sentence "Rise to vote sir" from this configuration. You may go forward and backward, up and down, but each sucessive letter must adjoin one another. 3. Long before Professor Templeton started his career at the Redrum University he had a job at Whiskey distillery in Tennessee. Shortly after a fellow employee was caught stealing, the Prof. was promoted to night manager. One night, toward the end of his shift, he was called into his boss’ office. “What became of that watered down barrel of whiskey?” his boss asked. “We ended up bottling it into the left-over special edition bottles and some was consumed at the Holiday party”, the Prof. replied. “Ah, that would explain why the whiskey at the party tasted a little off. How many bottles of the stuff are there?” “We bottled a dozen large and a dozen small which was all the special edition bottles that we had, of those, five of each were drunk at the party”. “There are three men that did not go to the party, but stayed at the plant cleaning the tanks. I want each man to receive the same amount of that whiskey. Also make sure that each receives the same amount of large and small bottles, be they full or empty, as they are worth something as well”. “Right away, sir”, said the Prof. The Prof. set about his task which wasn’t as easy as it sounded. Now the large bottles held twice as much whiskey as did the small, but two small bottles that were empty were worth more than an empty large bottle which was why the boss wanted each of the three men to receive the same amount. How did Prof. Templeton end up dividing the whiskey and bottles?
  4. I must be more cautious in my wording.
  5. Right on! They would shoot you in the Wild West for that. Correct.
  6. For this puzzle lets assume that whiskey and water are miscible, or that the barrels are rotated often thereby mixing the contents, or if all else fails we'll change it to wine.
  7. Long before Professor Templeton started his career at the Redrum University he had a job at Whiskey distillery in Tennessee. Once, while working there, it was found that a fellow employee was stealing whiskey from the same 40 gallon barrel every night that he worked and replacing it with water. The employee would drain 1 gallon of whiskey every time and fill the barrel back up with 1 gallon of water. This went on for 17 nights before the employee was finally confronted. Since he was a good worker otherwise, the management decided to dock him 1 day of pay for every gallon of whiskey that he took if he promised never to do it again. How many days pay did the employee lose?
  8. I hope we see more of you in the "games" section.

Just went through the trouble of writing out factors, only to be beat to the punch. Edit: Ah, here they are anyway. Deleting would be a waste.

Oh, Yes! I remember when I first became a "Shellback". It was on an expedition to Hiva Oa when our ship crossed over the equator. Back in those days ships had no GPS so the only way to tell you were crossing the equator was to look for the red line floating on the surface of the water, or if at night you had to go flush the toilet every few minutes. Constantly trapsing off to the head was a big pain, but better then being beaten with a wet hose.
  13. I remain unrecruited. I'll give the Acheaens the rest of the day. I had overlooked the fact that GC can't be killed yet, so dawh is a better choice for the Trojans at this point. 14. Holy Cow! You put a lot of work into this. I knew the first pattern would work, but I confess I didn't know if it could be improved upon. I appreciate all the effort you've put into your proof. 1000 Kudos points!* *Kudus points are non-transferable and only redeemable at approved locations. Certain restrictions apply.

I'm sure the coriolis force must be quite great. Whenever I'm playing billiards the balls never go straight. I can't only figure this must be due to the earth spinning. Then again, maybe I'm just not that good at billiards.
  16. Well done Ares. I'm a peace loving man myself, but for a God of War you're not to anxious to see blood shed. Well Trojans, it seems to me your biggest threat is Odysseus at this point. I've seen no mention of Achilles for a while now. If I were you I'd be voting for either dawh or GC, one of them is Odysseus (pretty sure it's GC based on information I've collected). I'm going to reserve my vote for now to see what the Acheaens want to do about recruiting me. I would think they would have done it by now, but I give them till the end of the day to decide. After that I'll assume the Trojans want me more and will start to work openly with them.
  17. I agree completely. Player participation can only enhance the quality of these games. Itachi puts a lot of effort into writing an awesome narrative and some people have only posted once in this thread. It's not hard to weigh in on your thoughts about what's going on without giving away any information. It's just disappointing to me. I would love to see everyone at least drop a comment. Is that too much to ask?
  18. There's a lot of inactivity from people in this game. If people could just post a comment every now and then it would be helpful. Is everyone planning to be participating? Where are the Acheaens with Brandonb's actions? It seems my plan is a good course. No?
  19. Ah. Well since the Acheaens can't seem to get their act together, I'll make a deal with you Brandonb. You either target me tonight if you're a non-killing role, or you target UR if you are a killing role. Agamemnon should guess accordingly as he probably knows who you are. It won't matter if your actions are stopped since it's only your intentions that Agamemnon needs to guess (I think). Once you have BTSC with your fellow Acheaens, you do want you can to recruit me as soon as possible. I'm tired of sitting on the sidelines. If I'm not recruited by tomorrow, I'll assume you don't want me and will turn to the Trojans. Sound fair?
