Lol...it's weird to be speculated about... But I'd like to point out, whether or not I am the Ninja (which will not be revealed to protect the Ninja ), what I-san said pretty much makes it impossible for him to be the Defender if I am the Ninja. He asked for Protection for me, and if I were the Ninja, the Defender would know that the Ninja couldn't be killed until the Defender him/herself dies, and wouldn't have mentioned it...it is unnecessary and may bring attention to the Ninja from the baddies, which the Defender wouldn't want. Plus, UR, if you really do think I'm the Ninja and I-san is the Defender, why are you outing us like that? It pretty much paints giant target signs on us for the baddies...do you want to get rid of us or something? <_< Edit: Sorry, Frost, starting composing the post before you posted...

? How does that fit with the 2nd line? Like I said (and someone else earlier caught on to), the 2nd line answers the question in the most direct manner... Oh, and your insight about what the last line could mean earlier was correct...but it just doesn't apply to the other lines...

No...I think you had the 17 right...between two words, one-to-one mapping of math words to "plain english" words

I don't know about Rene, since 2D seemed the most suspicious until he came out w/ being the Bomb and the suspiciousness was attributed to noobishness...it may be the same for Rene, and since I can't say for sure, I'm going with my promise to Dawh...;P (effectively the same as not voting)
-
Yeah, and if he's the MoD, you would get the same result, so it's pointless... ...and I do think people tend to be paranoid about BB, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt and wait until tomorrow to see what the results of "Spy"/Bomb are... Hmmm...I don't really know about Rene either...maybe I'll just keep my promise to Dawh at the end of Mafia IV...;P
-
Hey, I-san, since 2D has come out about his being the Bomb, what what was that clue you picked up on earlier, but didn't want to let on to the baddies? And, lol, when I read the "alarm bells" thing, I thought "bankroller" as well...but that's not quite fair, I know...;P
-
Actually, I wouldn't have come out, and you weren't really in danger of being lynched.... and, like I said, I think it's safer and easier to encourage the Bomb to come out based on the same reasons some others gave (I think it was CL). If I were the Spy, I'd want to collect more info (especially about baddies for the Ninja) before coming out. But, again, you're not me ... ..Anyways, still unsure, but yes, Inuit (who was hopefully not GC), go for it!

*Panting from the speed-reading* Okay, so this is pretty confusing, but I have to say, I'm not sure whether to believe UR or not. Sorry, UR, you know that I think you're Awesome . I'm considering three cases (although there are more possibilities...): 1) UR is telling the truth. He is the Spy and spied on 2D and found out 2D was the Bomb. I have a problem with this because I don't understand why the Spy would come out so early, for the sake of one innocent, especially since it would have been much safer and easier just to encourage the Bomb to come out about being the Bomb, like others did after UR made the statement. I guess he could of just hoped that the Doctor/Healer would keep on protecting him, but I'm not sure...UR is definitely not a noob, and I have too much respect for his intelligence for me to be completely comfortable with this... 2) UR is Mafia, that is how he knows 2D is the Bomb. Again, I have a problem with this because I think UR is too smart. The Bomb will simply lie-detect his statement, and he'll be lynched tomorrow... 3) UR is the MoD. He either saw a clue that led him to believe 2D was the Bomb or he doesn't care (he can always say he was trying to protect 2D). He wants the Bomb to lie-detect his statement about being the Spy because he knows he can influence it, and then everyone will believe that he is the Spy for the rest of the game. He is counting on the real Spy not wanting to out him/herself so early. In homage to UR's intelligence ;P, personally, I like case 3. It can't hurt the Inuit to choose him and find out if I'm right *cough**cough*. The only thing is, I'm afraid that the GC was the Inuit (based on his antisocialness in the night post...)... I'm not sure what to do at this point. I'm going to keep looking at the posts.

Haha...sounds like a mother scolding her children...(sorry, couldn't resist ;P) Anyways, wow, there has been a lot said, and I need more time to go over it more carefully (I'm having a very rushed day at work), so I'll check back and cast my vote sometime after 5 (when I get off). Keep the discussion coming!

Well...the more I think about it (instead of falling asleep like I should be ;P), the more I think it's more likely for the baddies to hit each other earlier in the game (and hence the Shaman should wait to do Aurora)... ...The QA's don't know each other yet, so two of them could unwittingly hit the third one, but more importantly, they need to kill the GR in order to be able to kill the Yeti, and they don't want to accidentally kill the Illusionist before he/she turns into the Yeti, so their best bet is to target people who seem like baddies (until the GR dies)... If the Mafia know this, then they know the QAs are threats to them and hence, they may feel they have to "kill or be killed"... Since the Defender is not dead yet, the Ninja cannot be killed, and even if the GR does hit the Ninja, he/she won't die... I was trying to figure out the exact probabilities, but there were too many unknown factors to take into account (i.e. the unknown identities of dead people)...umm...it's late...need to sleep...I may be wrong...anyways, will be back tomorrow...
-
Okay, thanks Frost. Oh, and I think you did a fine job with the night post .
-
That's true, too...hmmm...here's a question... well, last game *both* the GR and Ninja died on the second night...if there had been Aurora, what would have happened then? They both get revived, but would the night post have revealed their identities?
-
Haha...didn't you say you were going to sleep, like, 2 pages ago...;P But, anyways, in that case, I'm not sure...there's always a chance the baddie groups end up taking each other out...I'm not sure whether that's more or less likely on the 2nd night as opposed to a later night...have to think about that one... Well, at least I agree the Shaman definitely should use Aurora on a GR night...
-
Wait...when does the Shaman use Aurora? The rules don't specify before or after the night post...if it's after, then the Shaman should wait to see who actually gets killed before deciding...
-
Okay, okay, God has spoken Anyways, based on the QA target choices, I would guess they were in the last Mafia game, or observed the last Mafia game pretty closely, especially towards the end...(dawh laid pretty low until the end, where he came out of nowhere and owned )...
-
Okay...we'll see what Frost says. I don't think it's cheating...I think the innocents should try to coordinate their abilities the best they can...I call it "strategy" ;P.
-
Oh...darn. Well, the rules don't say that the doctor/healer can only save ppl who are "killed" saving roles = Doctor, Healer, Illusionist * Doctor - save one person each night. Not same person 2x in a row. Can save self only once * Healer - same as Doctor, but different methods of medicine You let the QA's win last game b/c the rules didn't say the Sphinx being out of the house thing...
-
Actually, I had an idea for the Shaman... Since the rules don't specify that the doctor/healer can only save ppl from baddies, then I suggest the Shaman do this: Use the day ability first (Aurora). Then, the day before he/she uses the night ability (Scry), declare that he/she is going to use it. Then the doctor/healer can save the Shaman from dying. The Shaman then becomes a confirmed innocent, with no abilities. At the very least for the innocents, this means that the mafia will have to use a kill on the Shaman, thereby prolonging the life of some other innocent that does have an useful ability... Of course, the Shaman may not live long enough to use both his/her abilities (or could have been GC...) XP

Ooo...thief was mis-spelled...could that be a clue? Haha...wow, these healers seem to have an attraction to doctors...

Hehe...congratulations! Who's the father?

Haha...taking bite of donut...cinnamon donut...chewing...swallowing...hitting the reply button...;P
