i actually put the hint in a spoiler so you wouldn't be confused...unless you were already confused, in which case you might become unconfused... confusion + confusion = clarity right? ....anyway there is in fact no direct rhyme with orange or purple, but it has something to do with that part of the rhyme

ok let's try this way... Doesn't rhyme with orange or purple though. none of these...but the more general thinking is the right way to go and the hint may be trickier than the actual riddle...

all good guesses so far, but straying from the track a little... if I make it to two pages i may elaborate a bit, but for now I'm enjoying the fact that it wasn't solved on the first try
