Maybe you should post this at the "I know I DON'T spend too much time on BrainDen when..." thread! When I'm exhausted like a baby elephant after a peanut-mud shower shindig and instead of having a nap I'm still here posting. When I log out 5 times and then log back in because somebody posted something and I need to answer on their post! Like this one ( I just read the JB Mafia game and you were accused of not spending enough time RT )

I just thought of something else! When there are more members, there are more posts. If there are more posts the members are more likely to read posts than other people's profiles. And regulars are more likely to visit newbies profile than a regular's profile. And you have to count in the guests too because their visit counts as well Guests are more likely to read some other forum first other than New Puzzles or the Others so regulars have less chance to get a visit. Newbies tend to check a lot of profiles when they join. (Rookies info - from 20 to 50 people join every day) Over 60 % of members and it probably reflects on guests as well, are Americans. Again these are the things that I've noticed and they might tribute to the overall non-solution! And yes I know that this is not what you are talking about! You said it yourself though that it's unsolvable
