You've been reading the wrong books and like I said in order to question those things you must know little bit more about molecular genetics this is an empirical science not a philosophical conundrum.

I don't know if you have looked at the video that ADP linked us to. In that video it's said that research on a huge sample of people shown that "answers" to the prayer are coincidental. I can remember all the things that were said in that video but basically it's been proved that prayer has no effect. I can understand that you do believe that from your subjective point of view it does, cause it probably makes you feel better but it doesn't have an actual effect on your health for example. I think you should look at the video if you haven't already.

Well this is kinda what I was talking about! Besides it doesn't matter if I say that I don't believe in that stuff. If I was baptized I was baptized and you all know what that means, a priest at my funeral. Being dead is upsetting enough let alone with someone preaching there. So it's not enough just to say I don't believe in all that stuff so I'm not baptized, but I would have to reverse it in order to avoid having someone talk against my beliefs when I'm dead. That's why an un-baptism is necessary octopuppy Not for me, but for others

Why do you only ask questions? Why don't you participate by sharing what's on you mind. The only thing that pops my mind about forgiveness is that evil people (doing really unimaginably bad things) can be granted forgiveness on their death beds just as someone who lived a life of virtue. Now, you'll probably say that they really have to mean that! For the sake of argument lets say that they really do, it still seems a bit unfair! I would really like to hear your opinion on that! It seems unfair that I was made a Cristian without my consent. There should be a law about that Now I probably can't undo it! So my question for Bran and anyone else: How can one reverse baptism? I don't want to change religion either I should ask a priest about this. Actually I have a friend studying theology. I'll ask him and I'll let you know what he said. I have nothing against people that believe in God it's just... I wanna choose and decide on my own. I don't like people telling me what to do (my grandmother) and what I should believe in and how to behave (except on BD *waves to Martini and rookie*)

How do you get banned! On topic I have just finished reading the book called "Sex Lives of the Popes" by Nigel Cawthorne. OMG in the past 2000 years the church was all about power, money and sex. There's nothing explicit in the book really just the list of their "sins". What surprised me is that there were a lot of popes that were atheists?! Oh and almost all of them were engaging homosexual sex. I haven't checked, but probably none of that is mentioned on other web sites. However they just couldn't hide the sins of the Alexander VI cause he was the worst of all the popes. Yes he is the notorious Rodrigo Borgia! But the other popes (with few exceptions) weren't so far behind. Oh and pope Gregory VII said that he thought that people reading the bible is not a good idea cause they might start questioning things, and questioning things led to heresy So much about Christianity... I'm a Roman Catholic btw, not by choice
