now dig for truth, tooth and nail. --scoop=dig, and the reporter again digging for more info on the scoop

as far as the rhyme in the hint, it was With Orange Or Purple, or WOOP...WHOOP later when I added the hummus bit

that took much longer than i thought it would, but now I am hooked on creating riddles so thanks everyone for playing along
