Guest
Black and red, but not white all over, Follow me, if you know her. I know I'm neither Jack nor Jill, But I'll climb up, even still. I connect the legs and feet, I'm the place where these two meet. I twist very easily, But ice and rest will heal me. Everyday I bring light, I defeat the darkest night. I promise to keep you all warm, I’m the color of an ear of corn. You all know I can’t fight, I always run of in flight. You all think that I am weak, For instead of hitting I’d rather speak. You’ll find me most on Halloween, Be I black, brown, white or green. Wrapped in paper, I am doomed, To lie forever in this tomb. A bubble floats into the air, Then it’s gone, but don’t despair. Blow another bubble friend, But it too, must come to an end. Each of these stanzas tells a different part, But they all come from the same heart. What they share, you may not see at first, But they stick together, for better or worse.

0 Guest
spider.....or ladybird wait.... pumpkin...??? ????? This riddle can't be solved like that. Each stanza describes a different word and then the words go together and are parts of a whole new word.

Cool concept. ya well, if you guys haven't noticed, I've been gone all week. the next few poems I'll be doing are all based on what I did this week. I'll post another, and then I'll be spending the day with my family stuffing my face with cake and opening presents. you see if you can figure out from my next poem where I've been. It'll be up in a few.
0 Guest
Sry if this is redundant, I haven't looked at other guesses yet Title: misspelled 1. - 2. ankle 3. sun 4. - 5. mummy/candy 6. Mummy could be a misspelling of mommy, ankle > uncle, sun > son So guess for entire riddle: family? Oh haha I didn't realize it was solved already Edited July 8, 2009 by DarthNoob

Black and red, but not white all over,
Follow me, if you know her.
I know I'm neither Jack nor Jill,
But I'll climb up, even still.
I connect the legs and feet,
I'm the place where these two meet.
I twist very easily,
But ice and rest will heal me.
Everyday I bring light,
I defeat the darkest night.
I promise to keep you all warm,
I’m the color of an ear of corn.
You all know I can’t fight,
I always run of in flight.
You all think that I am weak,
For instead of hitting I’d rather speak.
You’ll find me most on Halloween,
Be I black, brown, white or green.
Wrapped in paper, I am doomed,
To lie forever in this tomb.
A bubble floats into the air,
Then it’s gone, but don’t despair.
Blow another bubble friend,
But it too, must come to an end.
Each of these stanzas tells a different part,
But they all come from the same heart.
What they share, you may not see at first,
But they stick together, for better or worse.
