0 Guest
No one is close yet, but I can say that gemlou at least took a step in the general direction. I've added a couple lines that should help tremendously. Here is the full riddle with the new lines in bold: An inn on the left and lodge on the right, Up or out yet always at height. Part of the act yet on the outside Always ready to produce a jest or a jibe Of substance not real yet flesh at the core, Who can name this duo of yore? Sorry I disappeared for a bit on my own riddle. I hope you keep guessing as this riddle will be quite clear when the answer is revealed.

0 Guest
Statler & Waldorf from the Muppet Show Exactly! An inn on the left and lodge on the right, (both named after hotels) Up or out yet always at height. (awake or asleep, they hang out in the balcony) Part of the act yet on the outside (they were always critiquing the muppet show, yet were part of it) Always ready to produce a jest or a jibe (they insulted every muppet skit) Of substance not real yet flesh at the core, (a puppet with a hand in it) Who can name this duo of yore? (Answer = Statler & Waldorf)
