Good reasoning chicory. Finally a new spin on X. Really think the solution for X will establish a baseline for solving the rest of the puzzle.

  Reveal hidden contents

X = variable = var. is not it. So varies isnt either. Really good thinking tho. As you point out, you did go from two ins to none.

Glad you came back. No to No. You played all along with the last quickie. Am trying to make these things cumulative (which is not to hard as I'm learning with you).

Not it, but you do have something here that is extremely important.

When you have the riddle solved it will "READ" as the phrase and not necessarily spell it.

Decided to edit that as a hint.

Let me bounce this one off of you for a little back and forth:

X two curves in back for example

And as before - show your math for full credit.

  Reveal hidden contents

x=y (curves)

two curves =s

ys=wise

n

back=up?

I need to go back and remind myself what's already gotten

That is a good start. Going back will fill in a few blanks and get you up to speed.

  Reveal hidden contents

x = y tho uniquely creative is not it. s and n are correct. back=up is not.

Okees, let me take a stab at this..was worried it may have been solved before I got here...

  Reveal hidden contents

X=spot (X marks the spot)=O

two curves=S

in=N

back=directional

for=4=A in l33t

back=directional which is correct. (also s and n are correct as established previously) use this with some of the most recent past posts and slam!

in the spin on "ie" but other than that, all is logical and creative, just not exactly precise so not the correct phrase.

Closer yet. I expect that you would have heard this phrase that is the answer.

Very well riddled, plainglazed. Though I am still fond of my sine wave...
