plasmid
Pet, attack, and draw forth blood Sink your fangs and bring a flood Summon spirits armed to kill Bind them to my heinous will You've seen your final living day Now face your indolent decay You won't reach heaven, I'll be terse: This land of milk and honey's cursed! The light at the end of your tunnel is me I bring no salvation and bound you shall be The blood that courses through my veins, Bewitched, it is. Corrupt! Profane! My baneful touch will leave you numb Be sure, my Gods bring worse to come Prepare to face the hellish flames As pitchforks stab, play twisted games Should you escape their wrath so black Be rest assured, I'll bring you back

0 Guest
I think the answer is: A vaccination or antibodies to kill off a cancer or virus. The first verse is talking about sticking in a needle into something and releasing an army that slowly kills off the virus that will not make it to heaven or come back again. If it does the doctor will do the vaccine again. I would have to say

0 plasmid
A couple of people were sniffing around the answer, but I think I was overzealous in obfuscating it. No vampires or spiders; the antibiotic suggestion was an interesting fit though. So here's an earlier draft that had more clues. I promise to explain the metaphors I had in mind after it's solved. Viper, slither 'cross the plains Find your mark and sink your fangs Summon spirits armed to kill Bind them to my heinous will You've seen your final living day Now to your tomb, I'll light the way You won't reach heaven, I'll be terse: This land of milk and honey's cursed! The blood that courses through my veins, Bewitched, it is. Corrupt! Profane! My icy touch will leave you numb Be sure, my Gods bring worse to come Prepare to face the hellish flames As pitchforks stab, play twisted games If you face them, yet persist You'll soon return into my midst
0 Guest
But, the land of milk and honey is throwing me off. One thing that relates to that could be prions. A few more guesses that fits part of the riddle: poison, viruses (if you see their fangs as the surface proteins), gangrene, frostbite. But my gut feeling tells me I'm far off. Lol. 0 plasmid
Refrigerator or freezer? And with that last stab, Shakeepuddn slays the evil beast! In case a re-read of the riddle when you know the answer doesn't bring the metaphors to life, here's what I had in mind when writing it Pet, attack, and draw forth blood Sink your fangs and bring a flood or Viper, slither 'cross the plains Find your mark and sink your fangs - my power cord, gots fangs and draws lifeblood Summon spirits armed to kill - electricity's dangerous. don't zap yourself Bind them to my heinous will You've seen your final living day - as a rule, food's dead before it gets refrigerated Now face your indolent decay - slows down the decaying process or Now to your tomb, I'll light the way - refrigerator lights up when you open You won't reach heaven, I'll be terse: This land of milk and honey's cursed! - well it IS a land of milk and honey The light at the end of your tunnel is me - again, I'm just fascinated by the refrigerator light I bring no salvation and bound you shall be - gotta be in tupperware / ziplock, don't want freezerburn The blood that courses through my veins, Bewitched, it is. Corrupt! Profane! - refrigerant is bad for the environment My baneful (or icy) touch will leave you numb - cold is numbing Be sure, my Gods bring worse to come - you're 'bout to get ate Prepare to face the hellish flames - cookin' As pitchforks stab, play twisted games - playing with food Should you escape their wrath so black Be rest assured, I'll bring you back or If you face them, yet persist You'll soon return into my midst - LEFTOVERS?! EEEWWWWWWW!!!! This is the EVIL part! Yuk!
0 Shakeepuddn
I'm not sure how to rate it. I like it but it pissed me off. I had considered that line much earlier but I just couldn't fit the viper slithering and fangs part or summoning spirits, the latter which totally flew o'er head. To me "it" would summon life, function, not death. Well, sure "sparked" some traffic and brainbusting . . and I guess that's a big plus. I give it four just cause I like tough riddles and because I'm still enamored of your honey bees! Cheers
