0 andromeda
I checked it out and it's awesome. I'm totally in love with astronomy I love those kinds of comparisons when they say that if Earth were the size of a pea then Moon would be the size of a poppy seed or something. I'm just making this up as an example, but I love it when they scale it down like that We should totally try to do that. Compare things Like melons and oranges, or something I have to go to sleep now, but I'll think about it tomorrow! 0 Guest
that is insane... i never realized we humans and even our sun were so small compared to other things in the universe. i just wonder how they figured out how it was over 13 billion lightyears away... i even did the math to see how many miles that is so hear it is=76,420,497,530,000,000,000,000 miles. that is a long way!! but i don't get how that telescope could zoom in so far and that the one galaxy is so large it shouldn't even exist according to current physics theories. 0 Guest
i just wonder how they figured out how it was over 13 billion lightyears away They studied the red shift of the stars observed. but i don't get how that telescope could zoom in so far and that the one galaxy is so large it shouldn't even exist according to current physics theories. It didn't zoom in, it just kept its focus anchored on one small section of space for four months. And the galaxy is too large to exist according to current physics theories. 0 Guest
And the galaxy is too large to exist according to current physics theories.+1 all the way sir! This is really great, nonetheless. It makes you realize how small your problems are and how minor you are in this whole (un?)organized system of existence... 0 Guest
We're probably smaller than NOTHING in the universe! Just Imagine, every star out there is a sun, with a solar system around it...
