Guest
I give deposits that can not be spent, and hope that can not be lent. My smile should say it all, but moonlight shows this as fraud. I wink and you know im lying, I shrink and you know im dying. No thought should be needed, My garden should always be weeded. Attached are the downward stairways Which plunder into the blue's and grey's and the hope that can not be lent. Can you guess the riddle? 0 Guest
The ocean or sea? I give deposits that can not be spent, (Can't use up all the water in the ocean [ First law of thermodynamics]) and hope that can not be lent. My smile should say it all, but moonlight shows this as fraud. (moonlight on the water) I wink and you know im lying, I shrink and you know im dying. (people worry about ocean levels and the health of the earth) No thought should be needed, My garden should always be weeded. (the ocean is full of plant and animal life, but we don't tend these plants) Attached are the downward stairways Which plunder into the blue's and grey's (you can go down into the ocean into the dark Blue and Grey of the sea) and the hope that can not be lent That's my guess at least to get this going

0 Guest
My guess is a Glacier. How can "no" be a proper response to "Can you guess this riddle"? If I asked you if you could answer a question for me, and you said "no", then you have answered my question and contradicted yourself. Similarly, if you say "No" to this riddle, then that is your answer- your guess. You can only answer "yes" without being contradictory. This riddle did not ask if you could answer correctly.
