Take the 9 non-0 digits in the following order:

7 o 5 o 3 o 8 o 1 o 6 o 4 o 2 o 9

Replace each "o" with either "+" or "x" and evaluate left to right.

What the smallest result?

A gross minus a hundred?

Because you said it is calculated from left to right, I assumed we omitted the rules of "multiple first then only add"

7 + 5 + 3 + 8 * 1 + 6 + 4 + 2 + 9 = 44

A lot people may thought by using '+' signs will get the smallest number but infact you will get 1 point higher than this solution. :)

Using only Factorials and Exponential>5 signs, what is the smallest number you can get?

Should be harder @_@ :)

With which numbers ? the ones posted above ? problem is that the factorial is an unary operator...

Doesn't really matter in this case because the multiple is 1. You can do it either way and you will still get the same answer.
