Question

On a Sears hairdryer:

Do not use while sleeping. (that's the only time I have to work on my hair).

On a bag of Fritos!

..You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside. (the shoplifter special)?

On a bar of Dial soap:

"Directions: Use like regular soap." (and that would be how?...)

On some Swanson frozen dinners:

"Serving suggestion: Defrost." (but, it's "just" a suggestion).

On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom):

"Do not turn upside down." (well...duh, a bit late, huh)!

On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding:

"Product will be hot after heating." (...and you thought?...)

On packaging for a Rowenta iron:

"Do not iron clothes on body." (but wouldn't this save me more time?)

On Boot's Children Cough Medicine:

"Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication." (We could do a lot to reduce the rate of construction accidents if we could just get those 5-year-olds with head-colds off those forklifts.)

On Nytol Sleep Aid:

"Warning: May cause drowsiness." (and.. .I'm taking this because?...)

On most brands of Christmas lights:

"For indoor or outdoor use only." (as opposed to...what?)

On a Japanese food processor:

"Not to be used for the other use." (now, somebody out there, help me on this. I'm a bit curious.)

On Sunsbury's peanuts:

"Warning: contains nuts." (talk about a news flash)

On an American Airlines packet of nuts:

"Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts." (Step 3: maybe, uh...fly Delta?)

On a child's superman costume:

"Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly." (I don't blame the company. I blame the parents for this one.)

On a Swedish chainsaw:

"Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands or genitals." (..was there a lot of this happening somewhere?)

On T-Rat (Military food):

Its not for Human Consumption, Animals and Military Use only... (Umm yeah... isn't military also human?)

I hijacked this from a friend on Fanfiction.net. I thought all of these were hilarious. The bold part is my friends' responses to the statements.

When the kids are off school there is much less traffic... think about it!

Go ahead. Honestly, my friend friend took them from someone else's profile, which I assume she had permission to do. One way or another, it's fine with me if you use them.

Ah, I actually noticed an interesting label today at a Chinese restaurant:

Caution: Food on the hot bar will be hot. (and you expected?...)

on the rim of a McDonald's cup it said

"fill this side up" and i want to know who was stupid enough to fill it upside down

The problem nowadays is that people can sue any company because of their own stupidity (of course I'm not talking about people that had found fingers in fish-fingers) but the people that get injured only because they "didn't know" that the coffee cup was hot, or as you mentioned they "didn't get" that they need to turn the cup with a certain side up!

I also read that there was a following message/warning written on the box of a hairdryer - "Don't use under the shower" or something. Who ever does that, deserves a Darwin award!!

I love these btw, especially the comments!!

I heard 2 stories...

...the first about a woman who had coffie, and spilled it on herself (it was mcdonalds coffee or something like that), and she sued the resterant/fast food place because the cup didn't say 'contents are hot', or something like that...

...the second one (i dont know if this is true, or not) was about a burgular who went into a home, and he was climbing up the stairs, and his foot went through the second stair. He sewed the homeowners for the injury he sustained....

Crazy...

 On the subject of McFattys(McDonalds) I heard of someone getting sued by them because they drank out of their soda while they were filling it.

What's wrong with a little sip? :P

That's technically stealing, although I agree that one sip isn't worth going through an entire lawsuit over. If the person sat there doing it for like 3 minutes, there might be grounds to sue or at least prevent them from getting their meal or something.
