The attached image by Ghee Beom Kim has several interesting optical qualities. By mentally switching gears one can push ridges into troughs and pull troughs into ridges.
To my eyes this image also shimmers and dances. I do not know what causes this psuedo motion.
Ghee also has a number of geometrical tessellations that can be interpreted as 3-D surfaces. Like this attached graphic "At The Beginning", these also can be interpreted in two ways.
