I posted this as last week's "Puzzle of the Week", and the most popular answer was 17, with not so much mathematical justification. Here's another hint ...Yup, it's about factors. But, rather than comparing each member of the sequence to the previous term in the sequence, make yourself a table: 1 -- 1 2 -- 3 3 -- 4 4 -- 7 5 -- 6 6 -- 12 and so on ... I think you'll see it!
