The Map:

The map starts Spring 1970,

The coloured sections are starting provinces, and the black dots are Supply Centres. Remember your goal is it have captured and hold 18 supply centres, at the end of a year ( at the end of Fall turn)

Here is the map with full names, for use when placing orders

A few notes:

Switerland is out of bounds, no passing through this country.

All the islands which are grey and other places ( including water provinces ) with no name are also out of bounds.

The island off the cost of Denmark with a Supply Centre is a part of Denmark, and can be access without using a Fleet

Because only 6 people signed up, Italy is a NPC ( Non Playable Character) and will just sit there and hold for all their moves. Other rules Units=Supply Centre and Retreat rules still apply. If there is a choice for retreat I will roll a dice for it.

France ( light blue )- Surge

Germany ( grey )- blade

Russia ( White ) - Frozen

Turkey ( Yellow ) - peace*out

Italy ( Green ) - Inactive

Well yeah. There are no time restraints at all. There is no incentive to get things done. My alliance has all-but fallen apart due to inactivity. I think this is getting waaaaaay too slow for me.

Well if there wasn;t this off topic post you wont see much, alliances work in secret and PM me results.. There would be no activity here at all. Plus these comments keep this thread in the top of the list

Allies dont really come in to it much this early though, which is good as it give everyone a chance to get the hang of the game/rules.

This early the focus is to expand and capture Supply Centres, and create a Army. Once there are no "free" supply centres left thats when the stragity come into play... If we ever get that far ....

I would like to try and keep a turn as 48hours, but if there are retreats/build armies etc it might be longer.. I think it people would get into it more if it was quicker now though ..
