0 onetruth
My heroes are those who sacrifice a lot of themselves and take serious risks in order to better the lives of (or save) other people.
0 Guest
a lot of my heroes are musicians, and so, they're not really helping the poor or helpless I think this is where throwing around the word hero, like you mentioned, comes in

I should say that people who help those who cant help themselves aren't my heros but I admire them very much. Another person I admire is Gregory Peck. He wouldnt name names during the McCarthy hearings and he still played lead in Gentleman's Agreement when all his friends said that if he played the role he would be thought of as a jew. Almost the same Naw LIS I am not mad in the least. I was thinking about how they were about the same too. YOu see, I was thinking that we all should help those who cant help themselves. But I was really thinking about that saying "first they came for the gypsies but I wasnt a gypsy so I didnt speak up." I think people like Howard Zinn and his wife are definetly heros! He's right too apparently people don't understand roasts. The Sacred Cow issue was freakin hilarious too =P And I would have to say musicians are my heroes... No they haven't really changed my life or done anything to help me persay, but their music gives me a place to escape to if I have to. So I guess I wouldn't musicians are my heroes but rather their music, if that makes sense. Edited August 20, 2008 by ThunderChicken
