After he'd gone a ways, he turned left and kept running. A bit later he turned left again and ran a little faster. Later on, he turned left a final time and ran even faster than before. There is a shortcut akaslickster, turn right at McDonald's - -this applies to all short cuts Note, if in UK all short cuts are left at McDonald's, if in Italy use a mini and go up and sown stairs and over roof tops, basically anything in town off road will do in Italy.
