0 Guest
(continued) - ( - 2 * ) - (B - D) - F - G = I - 2 * G - I - H = J B * J - D = K J - K = L - B - H - 2 * L - I = M * = N N - J - H - M = O * D = P C + L + K + O + G + P + K + I = ? Once again, all capital letters are variables. If this seems confusing, it might be good to check out the original Smiley Math, which is a little easier. Now, what does the last equation equal based off of the ones before it? Edited July 4, 2008 by Frost
0 unreality
I have to switch my UCP to "Normal Mode" cuz it's in "Enhanced Mode" right now and when I click Reply the smilies show up as smilie images ;(

0 Guest
Eh... What does the F(h) mean, function of F in h or simply F*h? Oh, ignore that, it was a notation I was using when making it. I'll see if Martini can edit it out. It should just be E * A = F. Edited July 5, 2008 by Frost

0 Guest
I start to have some negative 'figure' for certain ALPHABET, am I on the right track? Not really sure what you mean here. If that's your guess at the answer, then I'm orry, you're incorrect. Please elaborate.

0 Guest
how do you define 2 * ;), when we ignore the semicolons, it becomes 2 * [nothing is here] You forgot about the parentesis, I never said to ignore those. When the parentheses are typed in(not in a smiley) their function is for order of operations. However, if it is in a smiley, you subtract the actual parentheses. - 2 * = - )) = b Also, the multiplication is the only real challenging part to this, though there is a set definition for it, however it's not exactly like regular multiplication(which would be hard with words). Just solve as much as you can without it, then try an figure out combinations that work to discover the pattern. 0 Guest
Nice going, you got it! Did you figure out the multiplication? Frankly speaking.....NO.. .. for F = E*A; I treat it as Similarity so (hr)*huh = h for K = BJ – D; you had me on this, I am not sure (lo)*(ne) – o = n or l or e until I further down discover other 2 doesn't work and decide to take K = n so as N = (excl)*(angry) = enrgy and P = blink * (o) = I can you explain? You know, I thought of using similarity only after I made this puzzle. vowels of first + consanants of second Nice work woon, I figured you could get it even without the rule. Thanks Frost. Sorry for late reply. Unable to log on on last Sunday. Well, I see Smile Math 3 coming up. Maybe not be the first scorer this time but would like to try. Question
Guest
The first few equations are just to decrease the amount of emoticons due to the limit per post.
= A
= B
= C
= D
- 34 - C = E
E * A = F
A - 2 * F = G
E - F = H
Alright, I have to break it off here because of the limit on emoticons per post.
The rest of the puzzle will be in the next post.
