Played Won Lost Drawn Goals for Goals Against Points A 3 1 2 2 B 4 3 1 5 7 C 1 1 2 D 2 2 3 5 0 E 3 2 0 3 2 2[/codebox] 2 for a win 1 for a draw Score sheet incomplete because all games are not played - but here it is so far So what's wrong? As long as these are the only teams playing, every time a game is played, The sum of the wins column MUST EQUAL the sum of the losses column. This means they MUST have won at least one game and/or drawn game with a loss also being a possibility. However it says in the table that team E have lost 2 games. This means that the mistake must be in either the games won/lost/drawn section, the goals for/against section or the points section. I think the mistake is in the games won/lost/drawn section, which means that with one win and one draw then the points and goals would still be correct.
