lol, I knew this one was a bit different in that the answer is a spoken word, not a written one, but I didn't think it would be that poorly received oh well. About the dog, LIS:

I've personally seen many dogs. both real and in story, named Blue. I justified it by the kids tv show Blue's Clues about a dog named Blue, maybe that's just U S though. It's tough to always be worldly in these.

About the rest of the riddle:

And a way to have made - blew glass - notice the past tense when I am referring to 'blew'

I got it from the 2 clues - too wordy, too long, too much info, too easy, but unfortunately i saw it too late !!!

Why name a dog blue unless your from Oz?
