Goofy What kind of a duck walks with two feet? I think something must be missing here... we are supposed to say Daffy (because they all would end in the E sound), but we should say Donald because then they would all be Disney characters. But there is nothing to imply that it should be that way, so mallard or 'all ducks' are all acceptable answers Edit: it should read: 'What Disney duck walks with two feet?' The way it is setup now means that both Daffy and Donald are acceptable, as well as many other answers Edited May 26, 2008 by itachi-san
0 Guest
I think the point is to get you to answer Daffy or Donald, when in fact ALL ducks walk on two feet, not just these two.

The way it is setup now means that both Daffy and Donald are acceptable, as well as many other answers Actually, I think it's supposed to be a trick question. The first two question are asked and answered, to get us into thinking of Disney characters, Mickey and Goofy, because they are four-legged animals walking on two feet. Then the third question is asked about ducks, which is supposed to mislead us into answering "Donald" as a result of the train of thought. Then once we think about it, we would see that the answer is actually that all ducks walk on two feet. This isn't so much a riddle as it is a practical joke to play on friends, and is usually delivered verbally because it relies on leaving an impression on the other person. As an aside, Daffy is from Warner Brothers' Looney Toons, not Disney.

0 Guest
nice trick! its like the toast thing where u ask someone to say the word "Toast" 20 times, then ask them "What do you put in a toaster?" they would normally answer toast but, the quick ones say bread. 0 Guest
considering the fact that ducks (and all other birds that I know of) only have teo legs, it must be every one in this world. Demon-ducks from other worlds may be exceptions, however unlikely it may be.
0 Guest
Hav to answer in 2 seconds! What kind of a mouse walks with two feet? Mickey Mouse What kind of a dog walks with two feet? Goofy What kind of a duck walks with two feet? It's a silly question. If the answer for one question is supposed to be inclusive of ALL possible answers then shouldn't the answer for the other two questions be the same? If so what about Mighty Mouse? Minnie Mouse? Snoopy? Wonder Dog? Scooby Doo even rears up on two legs every once in a while.

It's not though. The toast one is tricky because toast doesn't go into a toaster. All ducks walk on 2 legs, making this not tricky at all, which is why I suggested a variation to the writing.
