1.Do they have a fourth of July in England? Yes, the do have a 4th day in July, they do not, however, celebrate it as their independence day.

3.Can a California man legally marry his widow's sister? I'm going with Yes

4.Divide 30 by 1/2 and add 10. What is the answer? 30 x 2 + 10 = 70

15.Explain how a taxi can reach its destination in an hour and a half, but take 90 minutes to return when there is no other traffic? and hour and a half = 60min + 30min = 90 minutes, they're the same amount of time stated in different ways.

16.Even when the Arctic natives are starving, why won't they eat penguin eggs? Penguins don't live in the Arctic

17.Why can't you take a picture of a man with a wooden leg? wooden legs don't take pictures.

I don't think #21 is worded right as it seems to work out to something complicated.

If you remove the brother-in-law part the answer would be brother-in-law but other than that I'm not sure.

Two possible answers, only one makes sense:

defendant is either the judge, or the judge's husband. Obviously judge's husband is the only one that makes sense.

either Spouse (wife of defendant) or....

Sister-in-law.

What it boils down to is it is his brother-in-law's sister...

If his wife's Brother's Sister is the judge - then she is a sister in law.

If it is his wife, then it is also his brother-in-law's sister....

21 has multiple answers, since it depends on how you read "brother-in-law." If the defendant is a man, for example, it could his wife's brother, or his sister's husband. Either way, I think it's a conflict of interest and they need a new judge.
