I guess ask how the Jellyfish was prepared, if it was raw and on rice or something, then you know it was main course. But if it was in a dehydrated jerky-type form, like squid often is-YUM! (seriously, it's great), then it was probably a dessert or snack food. And no, you won't sound dumb, just ask her what she thought about it when she saw it.
