Ok, here's what I want to do. I want you guys to give me a list of famous videogame characters. When i have a long enough list I will make a bracket for a competition in which you will vote on your favorites via polls that I will make. I will set a time limit for voting after I make the bracket.

So then, what is the criteria for "famous videogame characters"? 'cause I have no idea who the final fantasy guys are except for maybe cloud (a guy with a giant sword?) and aaron (I think the one with his jacket collar up to his nose?). I mean, a character is hardly famous if the game origin must be listed with them.

Maybe specify that the list can only include characters that have appeared in 3+ games? And only original video game characters, not cartoons and comic-book characters that have transitioned into videogames? (Otherwise it's gonna turn into a comicbook superhero competition).

Let me set a few guidelines before it's to late. I don't want any Marvel, DC, or any other comic books characters. I also don't want any characters from TV shows or mivies, (unless the character came way before it's movie/show).
