If you take a number, and write it out, you count how many letters are in that number and it becomes the number for the next term in the sequence. Errr... it works better with examples, so here. 1=one one has 3 letters, so the next term is 3. 2=two two has 3 letters, so the next term is 3. 3=three three has 5 letters, so the next term is 5. 4=four four has 4 letters, so the next term is 4. 5=five five has 4 letters, so the next term is 4. 6=six six has 3 letters, so the next term is 3. No matter how big the number is, spelling it out and using the number of letter for the next number will eventually lead you to a number with four letters.
